Sand gold is put into the jigger, and high-grade gold concentrate can be gained from the jigger. And for this kind of concentrate, amalgamator or shaking table can be used for further purification.

Gold gravity separation makes use of gravity forces of materials with different density and difference of mineral granules to enrich gold from the ore. Gravity separation is widely used in gold enrichment for both placer gold ore anf rock gold ore. Gravity separation can separate gold from the impurities because there is a big density difference between gold and impurities.

Gravity separation is the most common, most important and the simplest method to extract gold from the gangue. Gravity separation is also an important beneficiation method for quartz gold ore. And usually gravity separation and floatation separation can be combined to work together. The gravity separation can recover the coarse gold when milling making it better for further floatation separation and cyaniding and improving the recovery rate.
